is a company that specializes in organizing trips to Madrid for students interested in getting acquainted firsthand with the culture, language and daily life of our city.

We’ve designed our programs, taking into consideration the students’ ages and interests. These programs include such cultural activities as guided visits to the Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, and The Royal Palace in addition to recreational activities like soccer or basketball matches, dancing or cooking classes, visits to the amusement park and bike rides in Retiro Park.

Guided visits to the National Museum of Anthropology, The Botanical Garden, The Zoo and Cervantes House...

Can may also be scheduled, along with guided tours to some interesting cities near Madrid such as Toledo, El Escorial, Segovia and Avila.

An additional highlight to our programs is a visit to a school in Madrid, similar to the ones in which students are studying in their home country. This visit allows students to meet with other like themselves and to observe a typical school day in Madrid.

For those students studying Fine Arts, we provide a short but intensive drawing, painting and printmaking classes. At the end of these classes, the art school grants each student a certificate as a momentum for their participation in the program.

PHOTO CONTEST

Madrid Cultural Travel traditionally organizes a photo contest in which the three best pictures are selected from those that the students take while they are in Madrid. On the last day of the trip, we host a farewell party for the students, at which time the winner of the contest receives a prize.

TRIP JOURNAL

On the first day of the trip, Madrid Cultural Travel provides students with a diary in which they are encouraged to write, in Spanish, about all of their experiences during their stay. This will give them extra language practice and will also help them to remember all the exciting details of their trip to the capital city of Spain.

VISIT TO A FOOD MARKET

We also organize a visit to a popular food market in Madrid, which gives students a chance to see Spanish fruits, vegetables, meat and fish being sold in a lively and bustling shopping area quite different from the supermarkets to which they are accustomed

Madrid Cultural Travel, provides the best accommodations and meals in Madrid. Our hostels and hotels are always located in central Madrid, making it easy to get around the city. All the rooms are provided with private bathrooms.

The lunch and dinner menus are varied and of top quality. Local cuisine is an important part of the visit, giving students the opportunity to become familiar with the traditional cooking of Madrid, and also providing them with the energy they will need to participate in the many activities included in our various programs. After a full day, students and teachers will enjoy typical dishes like paella, cocido, croquetas, tortilla de patata…

At Madrid Cultural Travel, students’ safety and providing support to teachers are priorities.

We accompany the groups at all times in order to help them make the most of their visit, and to lend a hand to the teachers who are responsible for travelling with younger students.
